Mojoguy
I now have ALL the Hotel Transylvania 2 McDonalds toys! It was easier than I expected to get all of them by the end of the first week. From top left to right: Dennis with moving eyes, Talking Dracula, and Mavis on a bike From bottom left to right: Shaking Mummy, Flying disc Werewolf, and Rotating head Frankenstein
DAJK
This was a decent little movie. Didn't like it as much as the first, but I LOVE the "Blobby" character. The problem was it was "cute" but not "overly cute". It was funny but not "overly funny" etc.
Mojoguy
I enjoyed the sequel about the same as the first HT. The second did some things better, and some things worse than the first movie. I'm really glad that there was less singing this time though.

Singing in these movies is fine in small doses, but got irritating in the first film.
Mojoguy
I really liked the songs that were played in the ending credits of both Hotel Transylvania movies though. They should have been the only songs in the movies. The Monster Remix I'm in Love with a Monster

Jay Beezy
RT has it at a 52% at the moment. Considering reviews were embargoed until the day before release, that's nothing short of a miracle.
zackzack
Deadline is predicting a $91M 2nd weekend cume. This movie is doing better every week To put it into perspective: the first one did $76M off a $27M 2nd weekend. HT2 could end up in the $175M range Edited October 3, 2015 by zackzack
catlover
I surprisingly enjoyed it more than the first. A think I laughed a lot more and also more invested in the characters. And I love the appreciation for "Worth It" in the movie . Can it have better legs after opening bigger than the first? That would be great.
MrFanaticGuy34
I don't see HT2 over performing. It could still get beaten by Everest wide opening You kinda need to take back what you said....cause it was Everest that got beaten by Adam Sandler as a vampire, considerably. DAJK
My niece loves it. So that has to count for something. I'm pretty sure it dropped only 10 or 11 percent from OW to second weekend at my theatre. Then again, Vacation dropped less than 2%.
