I'm thinking 35/90. The brand is still somewhat relevant but not big enough to warrant a Peanuts sized weekend and will have equivalent or slight worse legs (2.9x)

It looks funny and I think kids will like it. The problem is scheduling it one week before Alice 2. That is stupid dumb tbh.

This weekend is pretty much perfect in terms of releases, families will go watch this movie, teens will watch Neighbors 2 and the older demo will watch The Nice Guys. More weekends should take a cue from this in terms of programming. Apocalypse and Alice going head to head a week later is just stupid for both movies, Apocalypse will not be able to fully capitalize on DOFP and Alice will flop harder than it would have otherwise.

The pre-Memorial weekend this year is this and Neighbors 2? Lmao. The Nice Guys won't do much, IMO.

Are you are talking about fully capitalizing... have you looked at June? It is the funniest shit ever, I fully believe we will see some of those movies moving.

The May 13 weekend is hilarious. Five bombs. Neighbors 2 should be released here and FOX or Disney should stop being stupid.

Money Monster (the Jodie Foster-directed thriller with Clooney and Roberts) looks like it has potential to be a solid $70-80M grosser.

That final joke was nasty lol..., but that's what the kiddos want. Who cares if the brand isn't as strong? A lot of the audience for this wasn't even born/ was babies during the AB peak. This will find a new audience, and retain some of the old.

If this is the intention, we've reached the newest low in nostalgia-driven films.

Not as good of a trailer as the first one.

What's the competition, just Warcraft and Fassassin's Creed? @MrPink probably has a full list somewhere

The Warcraft movie definitely needs a new approach to marketing. The TV Spots basically look like they are advertising a video game till the "In theaters this summer" is said at the end.
