Even IDR managed solid opening but tanked because of atrocious wom and how utterly boring it was...it wasn't the spectacle people expected. Poorly shot dog fight scenes, shitty action scenes..ugh.

 

This is going to be a HUGE win at the boxoffice. 2012+The day After Tomorrow+San Andreas all combined into one.

 

Btw i noticed that the plot has changed a lot...i guess reshoots were done to remove the parallel story...saving the president from assassination.

Looked on page 11, didn't see any ridiculously awesome trailer. Saw a fun looking trailer with horrible music in it though.

 

Looks like they took Day After Tomorrow and decided to make it really stupid.

I'm all for dumb fun but Gerard Butler is just the absolute worst. What a boring actor. This might actually be some real dumb fun if it had a better lead.

He is the best part of Gods of Egypt only because he's so hilariously hammy in it. Granted everything else in that movie (except the score) is real garbage so maybe he just sticks out by comparison.
