aabattery
Also, I am 99% sure that Drogon's roars are made from a recording of a deflating balloon. Heavily edited, but a balloon nonetheless.

Leaked spoilers are prohibited even in spoiler tags. Fire and Blood will be rained down upon anyone that spoils me in this thread. And some comments today have gotten close to the edge. It's only 2 more weeks. Why anyone would want to ruin the enjoyment of experiencing it live is beyond me. 3

Joel M
Really good episode. Spoiler Yeah the plot about stealing a wight is stupid but really Jon and THAT CREW going on a suicide mission? It sounds too awesome to complain. I got chills with the final scene. The King's Landing/Dragonstone was a real curveball. I never expected that we might see Cersei-Jaimie-Tyrion-Dany sitting on the same negotiating table but it might happen even before this season is over. With Sam leaving Oldtown (to find John I guess), Winterfell is the only storyline left that a few Bran visions aside is still isolated from the main story, and this week went in the right direction. I don't want Littlefinger creeping his way to season 8 but I don't either want him to be just a damn fool to kill him and get it over with. He's definately out of his depth in the North and he could have never prepared for 2 Stark kids everyone thought were dead to come back with superpowers but he ain't a fool. I really want him to be so sure about his position until the bitter end.

4815162342
Map of Westeros. Red Arrow is the distance covered by the Night King in about two seasons worth of travel. That is why the teleportation stuff is buggy.

My assumption is something is currently stopping them from passing the Wall.
4815162342
True, but still, this is a show where you can travel by sea from Dragonstone to Casterly Rock in a single episode
Premium George
Spoiler What is annument. Gilly casually throwing fat boys. Jon targaryn is the real deal.
Valonqar
Adore Jon&Drogon scene. Drogon is a marvel. Dany loves to burn people. She also really loves her sons especially Drogon. She fell in love with Jon. She also loves Sir Friednzone as a friend, lol. Don't get the point of Cersei pregnancy. It felt so random. Love Jon's team! Next episode is going to be intense. LF can't die soon enough. Sir Friendzone can't die soon enough. At least Tyrion finally got something to do (meet Jaime, quite emotional). Gilly was the MVP! Not surprised that Jon is legal. That was cooking cause R + L love was real. Fuck, are they really going to make us wait for the final 6 episodes til 2019?

Jon targaryn is the real deal. An annulment is a decree that a marriage was void from its inception. It basically strips away the marriage as if it never happened, in a legal sense. In the real world, in medieval times, a consequence of this was that in many cases children born of that union are retroactively declared to be bastards (see Henry VIII's many marriages). In the book canon, the only basis for getting an annulment really is that a marriage was never consummated, which we know in the particular marriage referenced in the episode, was clearly not the case. Doesn't walder frey sons from all marriages are seen as legal? Also roose bolton. Didn't a targaryn had multiple marriages?

Didn't a targaryn had multiple marriages? Rhaegar only had one wife, Oberyn's sister. So he annulled that marriage. Also, going by rules of succession, it's Aerys-Rhaegar-Rhaegar's son not Aerys-Daenerys. Jon's claim to the throne is legit, Daenerys's isn't now that there's a legitimate Targeryan in a direct succession line. TheDarkKnightOfSteel
Spoiler Ok now that we know about Rheagar and Lyanna's wedding...who do you think has the best claim to the throne?Jon or Dany? On the one hand,Jon is a legitimate Targaryen since his parents made it official and as Rheagar's offspring he is next in line. Buuuut Rheagar died before the Mad King so he never got to be named King. When that happened Viserys became next in line and the immwdiate succesor to the throne. So wouldn't a kid by Viserys have a better claim to the thrones that Rhegar's offspring. But all Viserys got was a golden crown. Anyway, why a legitimate son of someone who never got named king would have a better claim than the actual daughter of the king?

Anyway, why a legitimate son of someone who never got named king would have a better claim than the actual daughter of the king? cause of line of succession. English throne, for example, lets say, God Forbid, something happens to Prince Charles. It won't be his brother or sister who ascends to the throne but his eldest son, even though Charles weren't a King. Lines of succession cannot be changed arbitrary. Also, Jon and Dany will probably share the throne cause Jon's just and good and into sharing but Jon has better claim legally and, of course, he doesn't have any aspirations which makes him rightful even more. he doesn't want power so it naturally chooses him over those who do. It's the nature of mythical stories. Do we really need spoiler tags for an episode that's been aired?

There's no bar on remarrying after a spouse dies.
Valonqar
Episodes are amazing and I relented after this episode and ship Jonerys. Can't help it but Emilia really conveys her growing feelings for Jon so well with her eyes. I don't know why she's considered a bad actress. I think she created an iconic character. Dany may not be one of the more likable characters but she is instantly recognizable to those who don't watch the show. I hope she had a great career post GoT.
