Oh, Cuaron. He's such an amazing director. Y Tu Mama Tambien, Prisoner of Azkaban, and Children of Men are all films I LOVE. Seriously, this man is extremely versatile.Not a fan of Little Princess, though. Meh.

With 50mil no way, but even 150m is good enough. but with great WOM it could crack 200m.

 

I don't think it will go to $300M but since it is not a well-known franchise or superhero fanboy film, it may have

better multiplier than normal films. It may do APOLLO 13 unadjusted numbers $170M DOM and much better

overseas $300M to $400M OS even. $500M WW is very possible and with good WoM, it may do $600M WW.

$600M WW is a loftier expectation but it is not beyond the impossible. People would want to see this in 3D, premium 

tickets, short duration (more sessions/day), Clooney/Bullock factor.

There have been plenty of films that have gotten an A- cinemascore.  I'd love to see Gravity do really well, but a 5X?  Come on guys.  That's a little insane.  Let's hope for a 3X and if it gets more, then terrific.  But you're getting a little silly right now.

Not surprised with Runner, Runner. Hollywood has been trying to make both Affleck and Timberlake movie stars for awhile now and it just  isnt happening. Its a dumb move on Affleck's part starring in these fluffy films when he just won an Oscar and seems to finally be taken seriously as a filmmaker. The Batman role will also be a flop, he's lucky that its an ensemble piece not solely dependent on him. The public does not care for either of these two as leading men, as their box office record shows.

Justin is a better pop star than actor. Hollywood already  has Topher Grace.
