filmlover Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 (edited) Bumped to March 4 next year. http://variety.com/2015/film/news/michael-keaton-mark-ruffalo-spotlight-1201516706/ This means the only openers on this day now are The Perfect Guy and The Visit. One of the many, many openers in the second half of September should definitely move up, in particular Black Mass (that spot worked out well for WB and Contagion 4 years ago). Bad news is Open Road is Moving this film up against Disney's Zootopia on that weekend Quote
Marlenn Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 First trailer is out. This is not what I was expecting. http://thefilmstage.com/trailer/first-red-band-trailer-for-triple-9-with-casey-affleck-kate-winslet-woody-harrelson-more/ Also, the release date changed again and it's now being released on February 19th instead of March. 1 Quote
CoolioD1 Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 saw the trailer earlier today. this looks good as fuck. 2 Quote
Jack Nevada Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Whoa, that's one strartling trailer. 1 Quote
bapi Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 So basically Triple Nine looks like David Ayer's version of Heat... Can't wait! 1 Quote
TStechnij Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Wow. This looks absolutely insane. I wonder if it'll be any good. Winslet might be hotter now than ever. 1 Quote
Jake Gittes Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Could be good, could be dumb and juvenile ("look at how much violence! and tits! and cynicism! we've got here"). And Hillcoat went from greatness to mediocrity pretty quickly in the span of three movies. On the other hand, that there is quite a cast. I'm intrigued by Winslet, never expected to see her in something like this. 1 Quote

zackzack Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Bad poster. Awesome trailer. Kate Winslet very gangsta. Quote
AJG Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Trailer was hot. Also Anthony Mackie is in EVERYTHING!!! He can't be stopped Quote
acab Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 That was a great trailer. But Hillcoat needs to bring his Proposition game and not his Lawless one. 1 Quote
Lestranger Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Same director as The Road. So I was intrigued. Then I saw the cast. Max'd it out long on HSX. Then I saw the trailer. Yeah, this is gonna be awesome. Quote
DAJK Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 Haven't seen the trailer you guys were talking about last month but not a huge fan of this one. Quote
TalismanRing Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 Great cast but... Quote Story: A crew of dirty cops is blackmailed by the Russian mob to execute a virtually impossible heist. The only way to pull it off is to manufacture a 999, police code for “officer down”. Their plan is turned upside down when the unsuspecting rookie they set up to die foils the attack, triggering a breakneck, action-packed finale filled with double-crosses, greed and revenge. 40 yr old Casey Affleck isn't paying a rookie cop is he?
