Annapurna is Megan Ellison's production company so I imagine any profits she makes from hits like American Hustle and Zero Dark Thirty will help finance riskier films like Her although she's producing Terminator alongside her brother who owns Skydance so she's branching out a bit.

It's rather impressive how he's kept a career going with arguably only three hits to his name.

 

And he's managed to do it with Cutthroat Island being almost 20 years ago. That should have been career ending.

Cliffhanger is great but the icicle scene in Die Hard 2 is probably his finest contribution to the world

Wow, if that numbers hold for August, that's amazing. That expansion didn't look very convinced by the studio, so a pleasant surprise, if it opens to $10m or more.
