LMA fucking O - Lionsgate leaked their own trailer thanks to the magic of Facebook Ads

Lionsgate is the one distributing it. It may not end up sucking in the end, but by now, my anticipation for this movie is in its death throes. It's believed that a trailer will be put out tomorrow. However, it could make or break what little hope I have for it.

My assumption may be premature, but their track record for marketing their films is amazingly bad.

Prophetic words.

The trailer itself? Cheesy superhero stuff, as expected.

Are they going for Chronicle 2?

I got the same vibe as well.

Lionsgate are auto blocking all of them :D

They might as well block it from coming online. It looks atrocious. They showed nothing interesting and the Elizabeth Banks scene was pulled from a cheap horror movie.

From the writers of Dracula Untold, The Last Witch Hunter, Gods of Egypt, Need for Speed, Real Steel, Thor.

From the producers of the Twilight series, Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore

From the director who only made shorts during his whole career.

Here it comes:

I'm glad they skipped endless teaser nonsense, but wouldn't some 1 minute shot of them in a valley, bantering with each other, establishing personalities, while they get ready to test their powers, and it cuts to black right as someone begins to land a blow?

I just wish the tone was a tad lighter, but this isn't the full movie and i'm (less, but still) willing to give it a chance.

eeehh... I liked Power Rangers because it was kind of a childish fantasy series. It was not supposed to be realistic, it was about interplanetary villains creating cheesy monsters.

Just like Dragon Ball Evolution and The Last Airbender were not able to emulate their original series, this doesn't look like Power Rangers.

IT's actually a getting a decent response on social media lol. I'm surprised but people seem to be looking forward to it lol.

I don't know about the new style though It's going for the Chronlicle vibe which FF4 also tried to do. However the Chronicle vibe isn't what made it bad. I

We could also say it's from the writers of Flight, Coach Carter, and First Class.

We could also say it's from the producers of Fault in Our Stars, Maze Runner, I Robot, K-19: The Widowmaker, the original Power Rangers show, the Hunger Games movies, and Cinderella.

Of course, none of that would fit your narrative.
