It's actually following Battleship's numbers (same weekend two years ago):

 

Sunday: Battleship -27.7% Godzilla -29.7%

Monday: Battleship -66.4% Godzilla -66.1%

Tuesday: Battleship -3.9% Godzilla -9%

Godzilla:

Sunday: -29.7%

Monday: -66.1%

Tuesday: -9%

 

So I think Godzilla is looking good to stay under a 55% drop.

Yeah - Thursdays have for the most part become a down day due to te previews so it's har to compare with films that didn't have to deal with those such as OST

If Pirates could drop 3.5% with Hangover 2 and KFP2 opening, Godzilla will be fine.

So a $1.4m number for TASM2 is almost staying flat. That's about the best good news for this film I've noticed since it opened.

Puts it just over $175m domestic now. 

 

Best/Worst case scenario for it over Memorial Day weekend? 

Best=$9m

Cinemark is like the cheapest big theater chain there is, lol. I don't know why but I got charged 5.50 for a 8/9PM shows on weekends all the time.
