EmpireCity
Dumbo looked incredible. Aladdin looked awful. 4
dudalb
So it's a sequel, rather then a remake? Hopefully Burton does better then he did with his "Alice" films....

Hopefully Burton does better then he did with his "Alice" films.... Maybe the Dumbo flying at the beginning of the movie is Dumbo fake-flying trick to attract people to the circus, and then something goes wrong, people discover the fraud, the circus goes through problems and at the end Dumbo learns how to really fly and that's the end. So maybe it a variation of the original movie, not a "shot-by-shot" as TLK and BATB. Still very intrigued about how the "Pink Elephants on parade" will be translated to live-action. I love Tim Burton, so i'm 100% on this movie. Also, Tim Burton only directed Alice 1. He was just producer for Alice 2 Edited April 24, 2018 by meriodejaneiro

It's not super derivative of the animated character, but still captures the essence and looks fantastic. This gets a thumbs up from me. Mojoguy
I'm looking forward to Dumbo way more than Aladdin and Lion "shot for shot remake" King.
SpiderByte
I have a feeling that'll change once the Lion King trailer comes out. People said the same about Jungle Book at this point too.
