This movie is so pointless but this cast is incredible.

I don't know how this movie will be executed. Burton could direct the Pink Elephant scene, and that would be okay, bc it was already trippy as hell. But the whole movie? In live action? I just don't get it.

 

And just my prediction, the rendering of Dumbo will scare children out of seeing it. Bookmark this post.

 

Idk why, but I just have a bad feeling.

Pfeiffer's obviously the best part of Batman Returns but she's in the midst of the Pfeiffernaissance so I am ok with this.

It's going to be a dud for sure but the story does seem to lend itself to Burton's old 'silent movie' style which is a big part of all his best movies.

 

Alas, he can't pick a decent script and not even these guys can make an Ethren Kruger script sound any good.
