He meant that in a "it's a lock to happen" way. And I actually agree. Despite Will Smith and the cast, CB has been tarnished by the reaction and the awful marketing. MBTS has a powerhouse limited performer, w/a really good semi-wide result last weekend. It's gonna do more than CB, for sure.

I did not like that clip. Hmm. The other songs are better for me I hope. That was, uh, pretty flat. I'm sure it works better in the context of the movie.

I've watched that clip a few times now and I don't really have anything to nitpick. I like that it's not a big-scale showstopper, but centered on small details and movements contrasting with the enormity of the cityscape in the background. And for a single take it does a superb job of not calling attention to itself, I had to force myself to focus to make sure there really are no cuts.

I didn't think it was bad. Just felt the song, singing felt flat. I like the single take and backdrop of it though. Tap dancing was moment was the only bit that really gave me a smile. Again, I'm sure I'lll enjoy it much more in the context of the movie. I still have high hopes.
