Wknd Estimates: Nolan = 50M | BH6 = 56M+(pg 72) (who cares, our forum lives!)

Recommended Posts

Source puts #BigHero6 at about $16M FRI, #Interstellar at $17M. Wknd shd be high 50s for #Baymax, near $50M for space pic.

Edit: oops you beat me to it.

Good for BH6 :D

I hope both movies can be successful :D

BH6 also cost 160M to make.

It had roughly the same budget as Interstellar.

I'm not sure if you're citing this as a good or bad thing where the BO is concerned.

Yes but its OS performance is expected to be good, Japan could be the wild card by the way.

Interstellar is expected to 12-14m in Russia for example as a total gross but BH6 will reach $20m (already expected to reach $17m on Sunday).

For those that care:

http://www.cinemascore.com/

BH6: A

Interstellar: B+

Same Cinemascore as Inception for Interstellar.

Interesting. I have an odd feeling that some of those older folks who disliked Incpetion will love Interstellar and some of those younger people who loved Inception will dislike Interstellar. It will be interesting to see the age breakdown.
