Cmasterclay
If this is getting moved to May, then next August is pretty barren.

Now that the prime "First week of August" spot is available, I think it will get filled soon. Valerian might move (not that it will help the movie, but can't hurt). Or WB might want to put Wonder Woman there as the last big movie of summer similar to SS. Doubt if the date stays empty too long, an open release corridor is too much to resist. filmlover
Sony should move Life to August now.

filmlover
Diary of a Wimpy Kid is also Fox so that's definitely moving.
WrathOfHan
They will all (except for the Nut Job) move for Ridley Scott.

Annabelle can move a week up. The Nut Job 2 will destroy everything. Pirates 5 will be hurt the most. Instead of being the first big movie since GOTG2, it just got overshadowed. Cmasterclay
Hot take: I don't think this is the big hit people are expecting it to be either critically and commercially, so other movies clearing out for it in a crowded summer would be silly. Life should move though, that's too much overlap. And A2 should maybe shift back a week and replace it over Memorial Day as counterprogramming.
CJohn
Sony should move Life to June. WB should move Annabelle 2 to July 21 and Dunkirk to August 4.

I don't think it will be a huge hit either, but it is good for a 60-70M OW IMO. That itself means other movies will be affected, especially with screen space being a premium during summer.

I think Baywatch should move back to Memorial Day weekend instead of Annabelle 2. Could easily coexist with Pirates of the Caribbean 5.

Cmasterclay
I heard from someone I follow on this board, @antovolk I think (sorry if it isn't you!), that this had started screening and apparently reception was not very good at all.
