My point is that what we think is more of a nuanced point of view, but what people think is "he was a rough guy and a lot of killed bad guys"

The point is the film is rather B+ at best but I liked it was a refreshing take on the modern war genre.

 

it was told from the Patriots point of view and I just like we get to see a film from the other point of view.. 

 

I do not agree with the war or the actions of the war, but it was much more enticing film this way. 

 

 

 

Look at this way, if another director made this film it would been a 50-60 million grosser about a guy  "omg I killed all these people, I must be bad"

 

However the film ends off with him saying " 

 I will stand before my Creator and justify every shot".
