A Pixar movie bigger in South Korea than in Japan, it's probably the first time it happens, what a change...What happened to Pixar and its love for Pixar movies, this one was particularly engaging for them by them so that's weird.

In Spain, with that $22.4m figure, Inside Out should already have surpassed the €20m barrier. It is the 4th Pixar movie that has done it after Toy Story 3, Up and Finding Nemo. And just another 5 animated films have done it: Shrek 2 and 3, Ice Age 3, Minions and The Lion King.

I agree that it is very unlike Japan for Inside Out to be surpassed by Minions given their love of Disney and Pixar films. With a better release date, I suspect Inside Out could have accomplished at least double its gross. It will be interesting to see how the Good Dinosaur performs next. Finding Dory should have no problem breaking $100 million in Japan.

Yeah somehow this year summer was so crowded in Japan. IO didn't have a chance to shine. I hope FD can break $100m, but if the rates don't drastically change, to get $100m it needs around 12b yen. That's not easy.

How much money has made Inside Out in Venezuela? The numbers site has Inside Out with 24 million in Venezuela, but that info is not accurate. Minions apparently made 44 million there, according with the charts of this forum, Inside Out is not that far from that. How much? Maybe 40 million?
