Olive
Star Wars: The Force Awakens exceeded expectations for first-day tickets sales in Italy, bringing in $1.97 million (1.81 million euros) on opening day with 219,010 attendees in the country, according to Cinetel.
Cynosure
Apparently Disney refuses to give first day French numbers. They must be quite disappointed with a first day number probably below that of The Minions (596 291). They'll probably wait for 5 or 7 day numbers where TFA should pull ahead. Renaud originel
It's official I know people from Rentrak DISNEY WILL NOT COMMUNICATE STAR WARS ADMISSIONS FOR FRANCE !!!!! OK, SW don't break any record, but it's a excellent start. In Paris it's the top 4 all time ! I think a thing like that never happens with FOX or UNIVERSAL ! I hope it's just a temporary mistake and tonight we'll got the officials admissions. Edited December 17, 2015 by Renaud originel

Giesi
This movie will have some glorious legs, it doesn't need to smash every OW record. At least, I hope so.
TimmyRiggins
It will have amazing legs, people will go see it again and again. For France, I went yesterday and there were tons of people but a film like that will blow up on weekends. I remember seeing Avatar when it came out here on D-day and it was rather deserted (but Avatar is a different situation although I think we will see very similar phenomenons with Avatar & TFA) and it was just jam packed on the weekends. This baby is going past 2 billion worldwide easyyyyyyyyyy.
