lol I'm only seeing this just because of my significant other. The perk is that it's not coming out of wallet (since I'm covering the tickets for LEGO Batman as part of a double feature).

Part and parcel of Universal agreeing to give EL James creative control of the series.   It's what made the first director leave - James drove her crazy. 

 

Universal made a ton of dough though and while the series stinks and will financially nose drive they'll still make a ton more.

Looking at the first films legs, I think that was always going to be the case, with or without any reviews.

Agreed, it could literally be 0% and it won't matter. We all knew it was going to drop from the first but still have enough interest to do very well because of its fanbase.
