Yeah, it's at 7.3m views right now on Youtube. Not bad at all.

The Martian's first trailer had 9.3M views at the same point (it was released on a Monday); Arrival has 78% of that right now, excellent start.

Some reactions are only so-so but looks like another success for Villeneuve. 75%+ on RT and 60+ millions DOM will happen hopefully.

If it comes out of TIFF with great reviews I don't think 100m+ is unrealistic.  This summer was fucking awful, I think audiences are may waiting for something good.  Villeneuve is quickly becoming one of my new favorites, another home run from him would make me sweat less about Bladerunner 2.
