And I legit think Emma Stone could kill a live adaptation of The Little Mermaid.  Especially after seeing her in Cabaret, girl's got some range.

Cinderell'a primary appeal is mothers and young girls, surely Insurgent's audience is exactly in between? I don't think they overlap as much as people think.

I don't know, Maleficent seemed to have a strong grasp over teenage females ( not that that means Cinderella well)
