ok so friday is pushing towards 83m ?

thats a 65m friday (without the thursday previews...)

just a 10% increase from that normal friday is 70m+ saturday

even flat 83m + 65m + 45m = 193m and i'd say that's fairly lowend at this point.

i'd say more like 83m + 67m + 54m = 204m .... yeah the OW record is definantly possible here...

This is June mid and its a WOM blockbuster. Its not dropping 30% on sunday. With huge spillover business it can drop like 10-12%. TDK dropped 8% and even TDKR dropped only 10.5%. JW can match those numbers.

I am thinking 65m sat and 57m sunday. That should be enough for OW record.

Some fun facts about JW's OW:

  • Until this year Universal had never had a 100m+ opening weekend.. in one year they got 2 :)
  • JW OD (if the number holds) will be bigger than all the previous 3 films made in a weekend. Especially if you consider both JP & TLW owned the OW records in their time.
  • JW OD is already the 6th highest on Universal's opening weekend chart (assuming it's 83m - to be honest it only needs 73m+ to be 6th... and could be 5th it's above 83.6m ;) )
  • Of course it will become Universal's largest weekend ever (and chance for universal to own the OW record again... been a long time for them)

Woah! Just amazing! Just Incredible! Never thought this would get over even 130!! Now we are looking at a possible 200m and basically guaranteed 180m+ OW :o  :o   !! This is insane!! All the disappointments over AOU (and please don't pick up this argument again, this is just my own personal opinion) are gonna be crushed now. 450m DOM here we come :)   :excited:

Everyone will literally forget AoU existed after this weekend
