I would bet money on X-Men: Apocalypse making more than Ghostbusters!

I'm still standing by this though!

Yes, I seem to recall quite a few arguments here with people who thought BVS was the next Avengers and thought I was being crazy for saying it wouldn't come close to $400M let alone $500M. I feel very good about that now :P While the fanboys certainly love that kind of thing, it has very limited broad appeal which is why it fell like a rock.

If it would've been as well received as say Deadpool, it would've at least come close to $400m IMO. I still stand by that.

Rogue One - 430m (+23%)

Finding Dory - 410m (+19%)

Captain America: Civil War - 380m

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice - 340m

Independence Day: Resurgence - 280m (LOLOLOL)

Moana - 270m (-10%)

X-Men: Apocalypse - 240m (-35%)

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them - 230m

Zootopia - 225m (+52%)

Misses: Deadpool, The Jungle Book, Sing, Pets, Suicide Squad

Not very good this year, though I think I made the same mistakes everyone else did (maybe with the exception of Suicide Squad).

Worldwide-wise.

1. Finding Dory = 1.45B WW Again, nowhere Close...but i'm still glad it got to a billion.
2. CA: CW = 1.4B WW Nowhere Close, but still great.
3. BvS = 1.3B WW Jeez......
4. SW: Rogue One = 1.1B WW This could be closer to my prediction.
5. KFP3 = 1.07B WW I had so much confidence with this film. :(

6. Fantastic Beasts = 1B WW This did pretty good, despite not being a billion-grosser.
7. IA5 = 975M WW That didn't end up well.
8. Independence Day 2 = 930 WW Another ouch!
9. Alice 2 = 925M WW Ouch!
10. X-Men: Apocalypse = 890M WW Aay, aay, aay......

I know I might be insane with some of my predictions, but I think with China's markets....the chances are becoming more likely.

7. Fantastic Beasts - $296M

8. Secret Life of Pets - $255M

9. Apocalypse - $231M

10. Ghostbusters - $211M

Well, I'm VERY pleased with my Rogue One, Dory, and Civil War predictions. Suicide Squad too I guess, but most everything else on this list we can just ignore.

Was hoping this might make up for my other post in this thread about Zootopia not making 200M...

Well, hitting two pretty dead on isn't bad, I guess.

I do have two LOL-worthy atrocious ones, though.
