The anime got an upgrade, the games are pretty addicting, and the Pokemon are actually not piles of poop or gears so it's not that bad. I mean, it's not reinvigorating like DPP but a strong offering nonetheless. By the way, don't believe a word that comes out of IGN with their review for the Hoenn remakes.... There's no logical reason to hate this movie before we've seen a single second of footage, especially with a proven director like Feig on board. If you think what I'm saying is mere conjecture just take a look around the interwebs and see...plenty of people hating on it for suspiciously bro-like reasons. Not that I think it will do anywhere near TA, but I do think it is going to easily steal the spotlight from BvS and Civil War for CBM of the year. It is something really different for the genre. Yes, you get the odd idiot woman-hater, but they are a vast minority The main reason I dislike this reboot (other than a few cast choices) is the fact that it completely disregards the originals. It's ridiculous to call the movie Ghostbusters and just act like the movies never happened. About as different as we've seen attempted. The concept is intetesting, but everything in the execution that I've seen so far looks crappy to me. I was excited about this until the teaser... It's probably just me, tought. But you shouldn't think that because it's different it's necessarily going to bring in huge crowds. Doesn't seem like something to bring your kids to. It's cool though, that we're getting some very interesting new concepts for superhero movies next year: BvS and CW with the inner battle, Deadpool with the R rating, Suicide Squad with the group of villains, Doctor Strange directed by a horror director, Gambit not really happening. Rogue One will of course be a champion of December, but it's almost impossible for it to have a record breaking rampage like Force Awakens has. In fact, no movie this year will do that well. It's been a while, it's opening against Apocalypse, it's a sequel nobody wanted, and much of Alice's original success was due to being the first film to hop on board the 3D craze post-Avatar and being the first blockbuster post-Avatar.
