Ted 2 should do somewhere between 10-12 this weekend (maybe around 10.7), but dang, MMXXL came way too close to almost opening in 5th place this weekend.

Hotel Transylvania 2 is going to do very well at my theatre at least. The first one was one of 2012's biggest here, and people really seem to be liking the trailers!

It always seemed like a really weird decision to release a male stripper dramedy sequel on 4th of July weekend. Nice to know that WB didn't learn their lesson after a raunchy comedy sequel of theirs (Horrible Bosses 2) flopped on Thanksgiving, I guess. Some movies are just really poor fits for holiday weekends.

it was a poor decision. Not a fourth of July weekend movie at all. Terminator should be doing better but its unlucky that JW and IO are destroying everything.

God awful debut for $155m budget Terminator (not including worldwide marketing and prints), Terrible reviews, shocking WOM.

Not good for Magic Mike either, but by Sunday night it'll have doubled its budget of $14.8m. Film was still crap.

Cinemascore (haha) they only take a sample on the first night don't they?? That's when hardcore fans rush out. Not a true reflection.

I'm taking about actual WOM I've heard from people in person. My brother went and he said everyone was on their phones after 20 minutes. People are laughing out loud at this film, but not at the jokes.
