Also why the fudge is The Gallows rated R? Had that come out pre 2000 it would have gotten a PG rating, not pg 13, PG.

LOL who cares about a movies rating. See a movie because it looks good or sounds good. Not for a rating lol. You make yourself sound like some 17 year old kid who just discovered R rated movie for the first time.

I guess you can say Ant-Man will make Terminator's legs the size of an insect ;)

Ant-Man is going to hurt Jurassic World way more than Terminator. If Terminator had that Marvel audience, well the movie wouldd,be well over 100 million already. So I don't know how the audience that didn't show up for Terminator is going to cut off its legs.

They didn't show up yet, and now they have a more appealing alternative, so they'll continue to not show up.  :)

We'll see how it goes. Terminator's theater count increased by 25 last weekend. It's about to get whacked in that department now that the standard "2-week guarantee" for big studio movies is done.

I doubt JW gets hurt by any movie at this point.  We're going into week 6.  It'll probably drop around 35-40% again this weekend.  It already lost its IMAX and people have shown they love this film.  It's also pretty big with families, so a marvel geek film is not really going to hurt it.

You sure you're counting that right? JW is over 226m+ since June 21st. You didn't include its monday to thursday gross in your calculation(June 22-25). You just counted the Sunday(June 21st) then added the next weeks totals skipping June 22nd to 25th in the process. If you add your number for JW to its gross from June 12-June 20 then the total would only be 552m+ which is not the case.

As of June 21st JW had earned $402.8M. It now has $590.7M.

As of June 21st IO had earned $90.4M. it now has $284.2M

Subtract the first number from the second and you get the totals.

Losing ground to Avengers over the weekend, but that's normalized by the weekdays. It looks like Avengers started getting vacation benefits on about day 39, and more fully on day 46. At that point, JW will probably lose ground overall, but it's probably going to finish 20-30m ahead in the end.

Avatar's legs were just beastly. Just crushing those weekends. I wonder at what point it'll pass up JW's total. It beat Avengers on day 44.

So were Titanic's, obviously. It's 29th-31st days were 7.4, 12.4, and 10.2m, respectively. Though it was still only in the low 200s at that point. There are legs, and then there are LEGS.
