Regardless of how good this might be, there's still the issue of not having a teen audience to really push its box office numbers. Even Pixar movies all have a very strong teen following and teen girls LOVE the princess movies. Not sure where this one will draw from to get huge numbers.

Ithink the teen audience for this is going to be bigger then you think.

And Mary Poppins is not a  Disney Princess?

Are teen audience still big enough to matter ?

Family audience and people over 17 seem to be pretty much all of those movies audience now a day.

I'd still argue Mary Poppins is the only really old live action movie besides Wizard of Oz that gets consistently passed down to kids of each generation. So I think there will be some childhood nostalgia present with this for teens too.

That is what people forget. People who saw Mary Poppins in 1964 as a kid are now showing the DVD to their Grandkids. Not many movies out there like that.

Trying to judge it like it was a Comic Book movie or a sci fi franchise is just, well, mistaken. Problem is some people cannot think of a movie outside those terms.

1 breakput song is going to make the difference between big and mediocre box office.

That is one of this film's biggest problems;it's a sequel to a film where almost every song was memorable.  That the score might be disappointing is my big worry about this film.
