DMan7
If a shitfest like SS and BvS with a RT score of 27% could make 700 / 850M WW then Doc Strange being backed by the Marvel brand of critically well received movies could easily sail past 1B WW.

This is MARVEL, Not DC we're talking about here.. 15 movies EVER have done $750+ mil overseas. Even Civil War missed. Hell, only 26 movies have ever done $1 bil WW. All with over $240 mil domestic. lupinw45
Lol, I remember when bkb Said suicide squad wouldn't make more than Hulk. Now it's made more than most MCU movies. Its only been 3 movies and the DCEU already made over 2 billion.

To paraphrase Legend Watanabe, let them fuck. That's what you are seeing? You completely ruled out them being friends? It's pretty common to see two men have a friendship and not fuck. Like...really common. This might be a case of you seeing what you want to see. Although if that's the "most homoerotic way" you can imagine, you may not know very much about gay men. Check out some porn and you'll see the difference. And I still don't see any connection between who the characters sleep with and the plot of the movie. 49 minutes ago, DMan7 said: If a shitfest like SS and BvS with a RT score of 27% could make 700 / 850M WW then Doc Strange being backed by the Marvel brand of critically well received movies could easily sail past 1B WW. That's due to Batman being in the movies. One of them had Bats, Superman, and WW too. Dr Strange is almost an unknown character at this point. Look for Ant-Man numbers....maybe. (probably not because it may not have the comedy aspect)

Johnny Tran
DCEU hasn't had the massive breakout WW totals movie yet but 650+, 700+ and 850+ is still way better than the flops that were The Incredible Hulk and some of that other bullshit the early MCU was putting out. I understand some people are upset and it's a sensitive issue so I'll leave it at that. Just facts, not hate.

If we added every franchise, the title would get too long. So we included just the top 3 franchises: Star Wars, DC, Marvel. No DC movie ever got even close. As for being a ton of them, I'd say 6 HP movies in the next few years (3 FB + 3 Cursed Child) is enough to compete with any franchise out there.
