This is hopefully a good move on WB's part. I think they took a look at tracking and decided something needed to happen.

Didn't they release the RPO reviews early as well? Tracking was low for that as well.

Hathaway is great at comedy so it's not that surprising. 

 

The runtime has been confirmed at 110 minutes which makes its the shortest Ocean's movie.

Ocean's Eleven is very good, Ocean's Twelve is decent and Ocean's Thirteen while not terrible does pale in comparison to the first two. I'm hoping Ocean's 8 is nearer the first two films in terms of quality. 

 

I've oddly never seen the original Ocean's 11.

Ocean's 8 is a spin-off to the Ocean's trilogy so you don't need to see those films in order to watch this one.
