Kalo
Well I don't know how the year will pan out. but so far Mary Elizabeth Winstead has given the best, completely human and non-oscar-baity performance of the year for an actress.
MinaTakla
Just came back from helo my name is doris. Sally Field ABSOLUTELY deserves an actress nomination. Oscar worthy by a mile. Wow. What a performance.

filmlover
I wouldn't rule out a Meryl nomination even with FFJ not exactly ruling the box office. It may be predictable to heap praise upon Streep at this point, but she really is wonderful in the movie (her final scene, in particular, is probably among her strongest and most moving moments of acting ever imo). Jake Gittes
Thinking this will be Davis vs Stone. Would be totally on Stone's train if Davis had won for The Help.

Add in Amy Adams as well, should be an interesting race.
