James
The fact that HP8 is so low makes me believe this list will be full of prehistoric 1950-1990 movies. Well, it already is... I think I've seen 2 movies on the list till now. Quite sad.
The Stingray
Rewatched Badlands yesterday. LOVE that movie. Really hope it makes it in.
baumer
I really hope more Potters and a bunch of Iron Man sequels make it. And CitizenKane of course..

I should have put GotF at 1 instead of 2 if only to ensure its presence Fellowship was going to be in the top 3 anyway.. Had Life of Pi at number 1 and GOTF at about 13, should have placed it higher and booted the Korean/Hindi films that were never going to make this list

Infernus
Damn I just saw Locke last night and it was good. Like almost 90/100 good. Not an all time top 100 films list level good, of course, but since my own list had a pretty low bar (I think I have probably seen less than 20 actual all time top 100 'English' films ever level films and there are still just 33 films I have seen that I myself would even rate 90/100), it would have made it in, probably in the top 50.

Avatree
Magnolia is worth watching for the performances. But like PTAs other movies I don't understand it at all.

Thor: The Dark World was better than Fellowship and The Two Towers in your opinion? You might not have felt them to be standalone enough but you can't really let that one thing dismiss all the other goods... I like The first two LOTR films a lot, they were considered strongly. HOWEVER, Unlike a lot of 'trilogies' which are more like 3 films around a central concept, LOTR is one big film split into three. The first two films are leading into the third one and I hate the third one quite passionately. This causes a rare situation with me where it hurts the first two films retroactively as watching the first two films builds you up to the third and final finish and that's not something I want to experience again. It pretty much makes Fellowship and Two Towers worthless as films now as I can't ever truly enjoy them again in future as I will never get the pay off they are building up to. Comparing this to most other trilogies, I can watch Batman Begins and Dark Knight and I can happily end there and pretend there isn't an awful third film, same with Spiderman and Xmen. I can't do it with LOTR and thus it made no sense to have 2 films in my top 100 that I never want to watch again and will never enjoy again at the same level. As for Dark World, it entertained me a lot, and I am a big fan of the Thor-Loki Dynamic. I like what entertains me (You're about to see examples of that in my next 2015 top 100 instalments )
