The Parent Trap while it was a remake, is the sort of film that rarely gets made anymore which is the low to mid budget live action kids film. There are films like Alexander and the Terrible, No Good Bad Day but they are few and far between.

Yeah I've been pretty vocal on Passengers' actual marketing being bad for awhile. Don't know why they never released a second trailer, with Doctor Strange, Arrival, or Fantastic Beasts. All three would've been a great time for that

20 years ago Jerry Maguire, Michael, Scream and 101 Dalmatians were ruling the box office. 10 years ago it was Night at the Museum (which somehow became the second highest grossing film of the year) and The Pursuit of Happyness

Not to question RTH, but wonder if he was giving the true Friday number for Why Him instead of with Thursday preview, because it looks a lot more like $3.8m than $2.7m
