For fans of the highest grossing movie, they are the most insecure bunch I have ever seen. They’re like the North Korean or east asian people who get paid to spread propaganda except it seems like these bunch get paid for how many times they mention Avatar or Cameron 😂

Give me a break! My confidence in Jim, Avatar and it's sequels is absolute.

It's amazing how people with their agendas constantly make it a point to derail Black Panther related threads.

Not only has the film been a wildly successful critical and financial success, it's succeeded in bothering so many people whose intentions are as transparent as Marvel's antagonists prior to Phase 3.

Pathetic and so childish.

I like to talk about Avatar

Then do so in relevant threads. Or if the existing Avatar threads are not enough to pleasure you then create one to jerk off in. But doing what you are doing reeks of obnoxious insecurity

Avatar is always relevant on this site for making comparisons to, especially with black panther which some thought was going to beat Avatar's 760m domestic and when black panther did 5 weekend #1's in a row. Black Panther is relevant to Avatar which in itself is a testament to Black Panther's success.

Five: Avatar, Titanic, The Dark Knight and two Star Wars episodes (I & IV).

I would say, it's more like "after Avatar and 3D the box office changed". Without 3D with Avatar we probably would have to wait until 2015 (The Force Awakens) to see any movie to beat original Titanic's $600,8 mln DOM.

5.. Avatar, Titanic, The Dark Knight, The Phantom Menace and Star Wars.

Still crazy.

And one could put the point at TDK or Avatar too.

As basically TDK was the first one that wasn't the only film for ten years.

SW and SW 1 had rereleases and Titanic well, that is Titanic. Ten years later TDK was the first film that got closer than 100M. (Or 150M..)

And after TDK was Avatar just 1.5 Years later and not 10...

Now that's something I haven't heard before! However Avatar isn't even my favourite Jim film, Jim fan first and foremost my friend. He isn't just a director either he's a brilliant man.

A brilliant man that perhaps you live vicariously through?
