Great hold for Baby Driver. :)

The Big Sick is looking at another $10K+ PTA despite more than quadrupling its theater count. This is definitely becoming one of the bigger success stories of the summer.

Kinda a weak start for A Ghost Story but it never seemed like something that would find much of an audience in theaters anyway.

So...

Spider-Man is pushing to a 50M+ OD and a 120M+ OW, and potential solid to good legs (especially for a 6th entry in a single franchise and 3rd reboot that follows three mixed to garbage films).

Baby Driver has a good hold and is tracking very much slightly ahead of Don't Breathe, and with a less restricted audience and a barren August to look forward to, it could actually reach 100M.

Franchises that no one cares about anymore, like Transformers and Cars, are dead in the water, and DM3 is vastly underperforming on the wake of the terrible Minions and less than stellar wom on its own (proving that even kids need some assurance of quality after all).

The Big Sick is giving Sundance and Amazon a good box office name during the Summer (proving that Manchester By The Sea wasn't a one-off smash for them).

Wonder Woman is STILL holding like a motherfucking queen.

The top 3 films of the Summer are all gonna be superhero films (GOTG V2, WW, SMH) and they're all gonna finish not too distant from each other.

And July is looking like the most lit month since March, w/Apes, Dunkirk, Valerian and Atomic Blonde all having good to great wom, and some potential for Girls Trip too. Meanwhile, August has some tricks up its sleeve too, between Annabelle, Detroit and Hitman's Bodyguard which all should be at least modest critical and commercial hits too.

So what are WW chances of crossing $400M DOM and $800M WW?

$800M+ WW is locked up... Probably do $900M+ WW. $400M DOM... We'll have a good idea if that's happening after the weekdays and especially after we see the actuals come in next Monday after his 2nd weekend.

YOOOOOOOO BABY DRIVER, GO STEAL THAT MONEY

That DM3 hold isn't as bad as I thought it'd be, but it's also not that good of a hold

Cars finally had a not-shit hold. This is going to be like POTC now

THE BIG SICK IS SHOWING THAT BIG DICK

Transformers

Popcorn Law is kicking in on The Beguiled :(

Weak start for A Ghost Story

You predicting it to surprise in Japan? I don't see $900M for Wonder Woman sadly. Nice to see $800M is locked up.

WW falls 30% against SMH????

This is the moment all WW fans have been waiting for. 400M is officially more likely to happen than not.

And a Derby Champion said that, so you can take it to the bank. ;)
