Sigh why did it open against Harry Potter? Though Winnie the Pooh was my first film I really followed box office wise funny enough

MovieMan89
Incredibles 2, Christopher Robin, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Spider-verse, Mary Poppins Returns...the upcoming family slate is pretty glorious if you ask me. Grinch and Nutcraker could go either way, but neither should be horrible. After we get past Gnomes, the only real dud we have ahead is Hotel Transylvania. MovieMan89
This got a BIG reaction from my WiT audience during the Pooh reveal. This is totally breaking out big time.

Yandereprime101189
Looking back, I really stupidly over predicted this movie's OW, might have been overzealous nostalgia blindness

MovieMan89
Man do the Pooh characters in this sure look like they've seen better days. I mean I'm sure it's intentional since they are supposed to be really old with Christopher Robin as an adult, but they look like they were in 'Nam or something.
aabattery
I am confident that that bear on a chair has not seen a better day in his LIFE. Look at how chill he looks. Incredibly zen. A master of relaxation if I've ever seen one.

Hades
Disney still trying to make Mr Pooh happen at the box office. Being an iconic character does not always translate to big box office. A Mickey Mouse movie would flop today. The last Pooh film flopped too.

Mickey really doesn't lend himself to movies which is why we've never had a full length film, the current shorts are really funny and it's a better way of using the characters. WB tried to make the Looney Tunes work in movies but the characters weren't designed for feature length films. I think Christopher Robin will be successful but I think they've wisely taken a different approach,
DAJK
I’m soooooo excited for this, probably my most anticipated movie for the rest of the year other than Incredibles
Caladbolg
I could see this having a run similar to Pete's Dragon (2016).
