I remember watching one of last season's episodes, and being really concerned over Julie Kavner. It sounded like her voicing Marge literally hurts her voice, and I'm nervous she's going to lose her voice box in a couple years.

I tried watching a new episode of The Simpsons a year or two ago and just couldn't get through it. Sucks since it was my favorite show back in the day.

i caught a newish episode not long ago and i remember being really taken aback by how especially obvious it is now that all the child characters are voiced by old women.

A few months ago there was talk that Fox was considering moving forward with a Family Guy movie. That feels like the ultimate "who cares at this point?" One of those things that will hopefully get killed by the Fox/Disney merger.

I was working during both of the tiebreaker games today. Cool to see the Brewers claim the crown, though I feel bad for the Rockies that they're still without a division title.

 

I still have no clue how the NL is going to shake out, but I'm picking the Astros to win the AL pennant. Their rotation is beastly and I feel like the Red Sox are cooling off at just the right point to miss the World Series. However, as a secondary Sox fan, that could just be fandom pessimism speaking.

MLB predictions seem like a lost cause in pre-season, midseason, end of season, and playoffs.  I will try to work on the playoffs, but they are so wildly unpredictable.
