Look at the CGI in Deadpool. That should answer your question. Also both Logan and Deadpool 1+2 are quite small in scope.

Might be standard WOM for a horror movie.

AQP is currently 7.2 on Maoyan. According to the China board, the average score for horror films there is in the 5-6 range.

I wonder how much of a bump Brolin will get after the 1-2 punch of IW and Deadpool 2?

Right, I was countering the idea that the WOM is bad in China. It just seems to have a lower rating compared to other genres. Kinda like how horror movies have lower CinemaScores compared to other genres despite having good WOM.

This. I thought about GO for weeks afterwards. I forgot about AQP until reading this thread today.

holy shit... that’s really fuckin great isn’t it??

It's budget is only 17M and it passed that in China too on OW along with DOM, so obviously it's good :P When all is said and done it's WW gross would end with more than 20 times it's Prod. budget.

DP2:

White/non-white 50/50

that is not typical, or?

Where can I see the demographic breakdown? I thought USA was about 60% white (non-Hispanic) so that doesn't seem so far off what you should expect from a normal film.
