Solo sunk because the movie felt uneventful and there wasn’t really any hype.

 

Also Star Wars has a lot of politics being shoved in that audiences may be turned off by, and The Last Jedi was not liked by audiences.

 

and with Solo, people seemed like really... a Han Solo prequel? Pshhh.

 

the next Star Wars movie in 2019 will do fine. But they need to end it after that.

 

Marvel does well because there’s more to it. But with Star Wars, it’s now becoming limited to with what they can do.

It's also great to see us getting an Andy Garciaissance.  after he did literally nothing in Passengers, we got him in Geostorm and Book Club and now we'll get him in the long awaited sequel to Mamma Mia!.  and who knows maybe he'll cameo in Ocean's 8.
