The cast for this barring the stunt casting of Pedro Pascal is pretty darn good. Rest is upto Marvel, the director and writers.

What did Pascal do to piss so many people off? Seems good casting to me.

He hasn't.  Pissed "so many people off" that is.

 

Whatever minimal backlash there is is probably down to slight overexposure with a string of high profile projects* in short order.

* As well as near-high profile projects like Narcos

Pascal is the right age  for Reed Richards, and that is a big plus given the age problem they have had in the past with Richards and Sue. This time they got that right.

And,yes, the casting for Alicia seems perfect.

It's almost as if Marvel is finally giving respect and care of attention due to a group known as The First Family of Marvel.

 

For all of the false starts and aborted attempts over the years, the simple fact of the matter is that this is long overdue.

 

Doesn't mean it'll be good.

 

Doesn't mean it'll break out.

 

But, if there is any group of superheroes that "deserve" to have something good happen to them after getting shafted by the Gods of Cinema over the decades, then the FF are pretty much at the top of the list.

Would be cool to have had a decent F4 and a decent Superman finally drop in my lifetime within the same month, but I just don’t see any scenario where it’s not bumped to November… unless they wanna rush it?
