a simple one will be the capacity issue. A film is doing well enough that it can't grow any further. In that case Sunday drop will be very low.

Is that really the case here, though? We're hardly talking Endgame. Still seems a strange behavior.

BOT gotta BOT..... some of yall need to reread Charlies explanation post on why he said / says what he does.

Weirdness is the name with Jokers run after 8 days so an odd, but still overall fantastic Saturday, shouldnt be surprising.

Also @Charlie Jatinder the reason for the Jokes about Geitish is that RTH is one of his internal sources so its a running gag among some of us.

You're all kidding about Phillips doing Potter stuff, right? Joker is one thing. He loves grimy, trashy 70s/80s stuff so it fits. Can't even imagine him having interest in anything Potter let alone remotely pulling off.

Potter audience is grown up by now. Grimy story about one of the the most powerful antagonist much like Joker wouldn't be a bad sell. They can make that in parallel and contrast with hopefully WAG CG animations of the Potter books and target multiple demographics much like they are doing with DC/DCEU.

Us potter fans like entertaining movies. So no at a boring and dull Joker like take on Voldy. Besides Voldemort isn't even a psychopath. He's just racist and powerhungry

not with scale, with audience.

Not sure what you mean with capacity then. Are you talking about hitting a ceiling with regards to total audience per day, as opposed to actual screen capacity? If so, still seems strange, especially if you're suggesting a fairly strong hold Sun as a result. I dunno, it just seems like a strange pattern. Not saying you're wrong in the figures, I just think it's a bit anomalous as to how it's getting to a potential final figure close to the pre-Thu predictions.

Unlike DC, they don’t have full control over Potter, everything has to be approved by JK Rowling or it doesn’t get made.

I dont see capacity being an issue. Yesterday AMC filled in high 30's % while Cinemark was around 45%. Its still playing widest among all the movies and its BO does not show saturation. But one never knows for sure unless we have 100% of data.

Also had that happened theaters would have added more shows. Today AMC has 4% more shows than yesterday while Cinemark is around the same. Tomorrow AMC/Cinemark has 10% fewer shows and so I am not sensing that.
