That 3M for Endgame should be given to TROS. Needs all the help it can get.

Didn't Endgame need a rerelease with some additional footage to surpass 10 year old Avatar's gross???

@Gavin Feng I guess you are using opening day exchange rate of 6.72. Maoyan has EG at 4.248Bn but I think official number is 4.241Bn. Using daily ER for 4.241Bn is $629.3mn as Disney reported. Besides we haven't received Disney China numbers separately but they did updated WW gross to $2798mn few months back, so if 4248mn is true, the 1mn updation might be from China.

Not a rerelease, an expansion (with additional footage. You cannot rerelease a movie when it never left the theatres.

Also Endgame had already beaten Avatar’s original run even before its expansion. The expansion helped beat Avatar’s rerelease numbers.

Nope that's called expansion as it never left theatres. Besides Avatar had 2 expansions and two official re-releases and numerous others for that extra $75mn it did, which EG crossed in initial run without expansion.

What does this even have to do with what I said

Endgame needed all the help to beat avatar. It needs all the help it can get before JC rereleases Avatar to surpass Endgame and rightfully so.  So keep the 3 mil. Endgame needs it bad.

$2,799M is better in my opinion because Cameron then will eat the cake.

Adding extra footage ain't expansion. It was making peanuts before rerelease. Even after 10 years it needed extra footage and a rerelease to beat Avatar. Anyway it was termed a rerelease.

Endgame vs Avatar talk was so last July.

July, December  doesn't really matter. Endgame surpassed a 10 Year Old Record.  Endgame still needs all the pennies it can get to save face before Cameron throws Endgame aside.

Moderation:- Take this Avatar v endgame nonsense to the fanboy wars threads. End it now.

@jb007 there was no need to initiate much less continue this topic. You continued harping on the same thing even when your point was countered. Warning issued. Next time you feel needlessly trolling about Avatar, do it in the fanboy thread.

You were absolutely fine with the snarky "give the 3 million from Endgame to TROS". If you want to act as a biased mod, fine. I have better things to do than deal with biased people.

If you see a post that breaks forum rules then you report it. You don’t go on and start trolling and posting off topic comments yourself. Mods cannot read each and every single comment which is why we rely on user reports.

And I don’t care what you think, you troll, you get warned. Don’t like it? Then don’t troll.
