If the studio likes what they wrote, Ezra needs to either accept it or leave.  Again, he's no box office draw to be taking a stance against them.

Ya it’s very strange indeed.

A freaking action comedy film with the Rouges and set up thane or the monkey guys.Pretty simple.Doesnt have to be any riskier then that.Definitely doesnt need the actor writing it or brining in tricking Grant Morrison to co write.

They may be in panic mode but if not they’re at least considering it. Deep down I bet they still want the shared universe, but this is now potentially the 4th major recasting in this universe, 5th or even 6th if Jesse Einsenberg and Jared Leto are indeed out.

So yes they may not want Ezra out because of this consistency.

i suspect ezra is the next to go after henry cavill

My thoughts exactly. Ezra doesn't have nearly enough pull or influence to delay a film because he doesn't like the script. I'm of the thought that WB simply isn't hot on this movie for whatever reason, is in no hurry to make it and is now indulging Ezra to see if he can come up with something to wow them. I doubt they have much faith in that though and are probably preparing to let him go.

It's sad, really because this was the DC film I was most excited about (before BoP came along) and to know that there's a good chance it won't come to fruition any time soon is disappointing.

Miller is a good actor, but he has zero muscle at this point. If JL had been a big hit, he wold have had Muscle. Of Course if JL had been a big hit, Affleck and Cavill would still be on board. They are recasting Batman and probably Superman, they can easily recast the Flash. Gadot and Mamoa are safe because their films were hits.

Grant Morrison? Bruh..

Also lmao at the possibility of everybody but Gal and Jason getting recast

Hey, that is what happens when a film bombs.

Only reason Ga;l and Jason are around is their solo films were big hits.

And at the moment, except for maybe Batman, Dark and Gritty are sort of dirty words at DC Studio at the moments. And Morrison script is going to be dark and gritty in spades.

They went much lighter with Wondy and Aquaman and had huge hits, and SHazam, which looks like an out and out comedic take on Super Heros promises to be a success. I don't see DC changing that except for Batsy, where you need to be dark and gritty.

apparently they are still on cause it says the studio liked what they wrote.

They liked it so much they hired Ezra and Morrison to come up with a completely different take lol
