Guys, please do not feed the troll. :)

Learn the difference between trolling and stating facts. I stated facts.. comparing movies and there performances is what this forum is about or is it only considered trolling when you don’t like the comparison ?

Yea something is up. King's Man basically flat, 355 less than 14% drop. Scream holding better than NWH. All of that seems iffy....

It could also be accounting for reopenings after the Nor'Easter and Saturday demand rolling into Sunday

Most closures persist into Sun I believe.

NWH could go 10+ next weekend tbh.

Idk about all that...

As of right now I'd expect NWH drop to be right around this weeks. Yea there won't be football next week, but there will be new openings that take away screens. I also believe next weekend is going to be extremely cold so weather wise, similar to this weekend.

Thanks, Canada!

When Canada reopening ? Can it catch up after these few weeks of closure or will it never achieve what he could have achieved ?

fantastic drop

Hopefully this strong performance shows other studios that spending hundreds of millions of dollars to insert one country’s politics into your movies for only 25% of the profits or in last years case 0% is foolish.

NWH shows you can make as much if not more profit than endgame without releasing in China in the middle of a pandemic if you remember to cater to the core audience that got you there in the first place.

That’s great again, -36% and no openings. 5 new small markets next weekend. Heading for $130m+

Wow, you always have interesting data 👍

You gave me the idea to make a comparison between the 5 highest grossing movies in USA and China, with and without the help of Canada:

Usa + Canada

The Force Awakens 936M
Endgame 858M

Avatar 760M
No Way Home 736M

Black Panther 700M

China

The Battle at Lake Changjin 911M

Wolf Warrior 2 874M

Hi Mom 821M

Ne Zha 719M

The Wandering Earth 694M

Usa

The Force Awakens 841M
Endgame 775M
No Way Home 684M
Avatar 663M

Black Panther 641M

Why is Saturday look so strong across the board?

G:A is posting semi-Croods hold in this late run. LP seem having better WOM from general audiences than other Oscar hopeful. Its hold has been very good aside from 2nd week. Hope this boost its Oscar chance further into race.
