Krissykins
Next weekend we could have 8 films over $2m, the first time since Thanksgiving weekend. 2
XXRDJisDoctorDoom
So about $9.5-9.8M for NWH this weekend. Super Bowl weekend FS should only drop 10-15% from this weekend, while SB Sunday will probably half of this Sunday so maybe $7-7.5M next weekend? BadOlCatSylvester
That result is, in a post-Tiktok era, absolutely incredible for J4ck4ss. It doubled its budget just with its domestic opening weekend too, which ViacomCBS shareholders will be pleased by. I'm curious if the sequel announcement factored in to that drop for Scream '22.

Mango
It's good to see something that isn't a superhero movie or CGI extravaganza make decent coin. Still, we need more variety. Hopefully Jackass numbers are a good sign for that. I also like how this weekend was essentially "how to do dumb mindless entertainment right vs wrong" with the Jackass crew doing what they do best and Emmerich managing to disappoint people agian. And No Way Home is a total beast, the lack of competition is driving it to better late legs than any other comic book film I can think of.
filmlover
Some insane holds across the board even with actual new movies arriving. Licorice Pizza and West Side Story seem well-positioned to take advantage of the Oscar bumps they're going to see starting Tuesday (as the only contenders that are still theater-exclusive).
