Yes and no. Theres only 1 Ethan Hunt and there are 1,6 million Bonds. Id argue Hunt is better (or more entertaining) than nearly all Bonds, but Casino Royale and Slyfall Craig Bond as well as Sean Connerys Bond are even for me.

Its best MCU film since Infinity War for me.

 

Same here. The movie didn't deserve to be that hated on. When you have stuff like The Hulk, the first 2 Thor's, Iron Man 2 and 3, Black Widow, Age of Ultron, low-key even the first two Spider-Man movies weren't good...hell even Shang Chi was so by the numbers and falls apart during the last hour while Eternals last few set pieces, fights and even that twist were just so good.

The team element in MI is so much better too. 

 

The last few MI movies have bested Bond by a mile and then some.

I don't think it's the worst . Found Thor 2,CM, AM&TW  worse.

 

My only major issue with the film. Though  It kind of deviates from the marvel formular with exception of the standard MCU third act. It forgets to create relatable characters . characters are  one dimensional and boring with exception of kingo. Elements and themes  in the world are there but the way the characters put them forth or interact with them is so uncompelling IMO.

I don't feel the characters really have chemistry and care for each other ,they go through the basic motions but it feels forced at points. 

 

Even the damn twists involves a character who dies without us really knowing  her or without understanding the context of their relationship with ikaris which just lowered my emotional investment

 

With 7000 yrs of history these have to be some of the most boring gods I've seen tbh .
