In south London they'll just let anyone in even though it's legally prohibited. Rarely any movie goes beyond a 15 rating nowadays, and the 15 rated films kids and families turn up for tend to superhero stuff or films bumped to a 15 rating due to a technicality (The Batman). It's easier to let everyone in rather than get into a dispute and start extending queues to issue refunds from my understanding.

No children are getting into a 15 or an 18 here in Scotland. Used to be a nightmare trying to get into a film underage. 
 

Maybe south london isn’t as strict for some reason. But the BBFC guidance is.
