It's also having early access shows on Wednesday (wearing pink naturally encouraged heh).

They have to be incorporating that into the title of the show - Wear Pink Wednesday? EA - or advertising, right?

For those tracking TCP is it likely that theaters will add more showings based on ticket sales or will the current list of theaters likely remain the same?

Final week there will be a surge for sure. For Christmas day I feel there will be limit but based on its performance I expect it to add more shows beyond that as well.

I remember there being an article that said poor things was expanding to only a few more theaters (~15) but I guess that must’ve been wrong

The Greatest showman had a x13 multiplier on a 5 days first weekend and not 3.

So if someone feels Wonka, especially after seeing it, can have an incredible WOM and like x8, x9 why shouldn't write it because of tabs and averages 😇. I mean it's box office, it's numbers but it's also about art and how it's percevied so you never know, exceptions can exist and are not even that rare. I remember for the graphics Barbie maximum on a 160M first weekend was like 470-480M final, then went near to 650M.

Wonka : 40M US , 35M overseas , 75M in total this weekend (around 120M in all totals)

Aquaman 2 : 50-60M Four Days Weekend ( a steady projection but much bigger than presales say)

Color Purple : 8M OD ( which is much lower than presales say)

6-7M 2nd Weekend for the Boys and The Heron ( for a once , i'm agree)

Color Purple going that low would be very surprising. Though with the stupid musical marketing trends we've seen people may not know it's a musical and not just a remake.
