Johnny Tran
Sydney Sweeney is a huge star. Most of the cast of 'Euphoria' is. That show was wild and it grabbed the attention of kids and adults.

MovieMan89
Terrible NYD holds tbh. I asked before, but do we know the lowest OD multis ever for wide releases? I checked the usual suspects of Twilights and super frontloaded CBMs and CD openers and all still turned up at least 4x OD multis. TCP continues to track below Ali in holds and gross, meaning about a 63 finish if it can follow those holds. If it keeps doing worse, less than that though. Just so weird to have the most OD frontloaded movie maybe ever be this of all things.

MovieMan89
And just in case you missed it or I’ve been unclear for those who I know want to hear it… Wonka is obviously not doing a 10x+ multi or getting #3 for the year. Not even close. Way way off about that. Not even sure of it will get to 6x now

That said both will probably bomb

I guess Triple Frontier was a warning, but Chandor really didn't need to join the Marvel industrial complex.

Still, I'm surprised the current holds for TCP are so poor. It's curious how we went from "100M DOM is safe" to "70M DOM may be a stretch". Having seen the movie and really liking it still does not surprise me. My guess is it being a musical really has hurt it. They were probably right to hide that fact in the end.
