I'm not totally sure how reliable these numbers are, but this twitter user seems to be pretty close in tracking.

This is Mark, he doesn't give numbers for the US market often but he's extremely reliable. He owns the site insidekino which is used for german market tracking but also has other markets.

Family and kids films doing well while they are out of school was to be expected. The question is what will happen once Tuesday hit and beyond.

Jan 2 will still have a portion of schools out - almost all colleges, plus a portion of K-12 that's less than what was out Dec 18-20.

So, kids' movies won't fall totally off the cliff til Jan 8...

To put some numbers to this, for Ferdinand with same calendar

Tue 1/02 = $2.5M

Thu 1/04 = $1.5M

Mon 1/08 = $500K

Wed 1/10 = $300K

Looks to be some leftover holiday effect on that Monday, but by Wed it’s totally gone

Two mixed received and look like straight to streaming movie ended up potentially making 100m combined. Stop sending content to streaming!

I've also understood both movies have a bigger female audience.
