It's actually a fair point, the last movie made less than 300m WW and Smith's star has declined since then. I assume Bay won't be directing either. Luckily, Martin Lawrence can easily carry the film to 500m plus.

Yeah, they're not making this without Michael Bay.  And Michael Bay ain't making no 100m Bad Boys 3.

 

And Jerry Bruckheimer?  He doesn't even know HOW to make a 100m movie anymore, unless it's a movie about shopping.
