I was expecting something decent at least, something entertaining. It was impossible to reach the 1st movie. What I got was trash with circles in maps and granades being throwed away and making big explosions but without making any damages to the buildings, and even more hilarious was the fact that nobody got scared in the streets, nobody fucking cared about those explosions, and with some of the worst action scenes of the year, I have to assume that Megaton will never direct a movie again. And lets not talk about the

main villian's death

Hey, buildings were obviously damaged but they weren't the focus of the scene. The focus was the sound. People got scared that's why the police was deployed.Did people even ask why in THE AVENGERS, other countries didn't care about America when it was being attacked by aliens? The same thing happened in the TRANSFORMERS movies.But a lot of people enjoyed them.

Generic horror movies are terrible, but films like Paranormal Activity are brilliant.

The first 3 are all great. I can't wait to see PA4.That's kind of where my horror liking ends, though. I dislike 99% of horror movies. They are just trash. My top 2 worst movies ever are both horror movies, and there are countless in my top 20 worst.

The second was ok. Haven't seen the third. The 4th one currently has a rating of 5 from RT. That's bad.

I wouldn't take note of RT for sequels, especially a third sequel because the pretentious and snobby bastards over there are never generous to sequels, they have a "been there, done that" attitude regardless of whether that still works brilliantly, which in the PA films it still does.I'll still see it when it comes out in HK.

So PA3 gets a 68% on Rotten Tomatoes and the fourth one would crash for the sole reason that critics are pretentious and hate sequels. Huh.

I was talking generally, and not specifically about PA4 as it might be bad, I haven't seen it yet. Best not to believe anything professional critics say. Best to view it one's self.

I saw the fist Paranormal Activity, and I wasn't very impressed. Sure, the night scenes were really fun and ooky, but the rest was just kinda uninteresting (unlike in BWP)
